Right now we are in the middle of a few weekends in a row where Brandon and I are out of town in separate places. On top of that, this week has been extra busy and we are pooped. {Having these weekends where we are in separate places sheds light on how much we value our quality time on the weekends because weekdays are long with working and then we're exhausted by the time we've finished dinner and so forth} It's one of those nights where there is so much to say but not enough time or energy to put it into words...I'm sure you know the feeling! 


If we could sum up what the Lord has been teaching us lately, it would be summed up in these two words: LIFE and PEACE. Here are two verses to give further insight...


"The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is LIFE and PEACE." -Romans 8:6...This verse has helped remind us to SPEAK LIFE. Whether we're super busy at work, faced with the unknown, or this that and the other...we want our minds to be controlled by the Spirit. 


And even in the midst of this busy time, we are reminded that..."A heart at PEACE gives LIFE to the body..." - Proverbs 14:30 ... We desire a heart at PEACE. 


So very thankful to know the Lord...for He is our LIFE and our PEACE. Have a blessed week!
